For those of you who didn’t know, last Monday (05/09) was Labour Day here in the US. To celebrate, Jason and I decided to host a barbeque just for fun. PJ and Amelia invited their friends Rob and Becky, who came with their new-born daughter Gia (she is the cutest thing ever). We had prepared a ton of food and by the end of the night, I was stuffed. On the menu, we had both regular and jalapeño frozen burger patties, Italian sausages, and a six layer dip made by Amelia, which we had with Tostitos Chips. The drink menu comprised of Smirnoff Ice (flavours include: mango, pineapple and cherry lime), Red Stripe Beer, Heineken and assorted fruit juices. We ate, talked, laughed, watched Sucker Punch and played Phase 10 Card Game. Overall it was a great day. It turned out to be a very entertaining one to say the least.
I’ll now share with you, the recipe for Amelia’s infamous dip. Please see below the order in which the ingredients were layered:
- Refried Beans
- Taco Seasoning
- Cream Cheese
- Green Chiles
- Kraft Mexican Three Cheeses
